Roxspin Girl Stacey Lee

It was only a matter of time that we would cross paths. Hot Import Nights gave the opportunity in getting this girl on our roster. As I approached her at the Xoticus Camp, crazy things were running through my head. I had no clue of what to expect. During our conversation, I've seen more than her beauty. She had heart and understanding. It brought a smile to my face.

As time passed, I had a photoshoot planned out for Edmun at Opak Racing. It would feature his Spoon JDM Integra. While the project was on the back burner, I had Edmun take a look at Stacey's portfolio. He was also impressed as we were. With his approval, Stacey took on the titles of both Spoon and Roxspin Girl.

After a great shoot, she recommended "Gordon Biersch" in San Francisco's historic waterfront to kick back and relax. It was a perfect setting for an interview. She's more than meets the eye. I'm glad to have met you Stacey. I gained a new friend. Thank you.

Roxspin So would this place be your regular hang out? I like it so far since we get to sample all of their beers on tap. (Grinning)
Stacey I personally like Gordon Biersch to grab some food and a few drinks. It's not a regular hang out, but a great place for birthdays or when you want to catch a good sports game over a nice cold beer.

Roxspin Beer drinker. Cool! I see you watching the game. You a Giants fan?
Stacey I'm pretty new to baseball and finally seen my first Giants game at the ball park a few weeks ago with my old high school friends. I'd definitely enjoy playing rather than watching.

Roxspin Athletic girl?
Stacey Use to be (Laughs). Not quite anymore. Out of shape. Been sitting in front of my laptop too long.

Roxspin Out of shape yeah right! Sitting in front of that computer must burn calories because you looked great at the shoot. You in college right? What are you majoring in?
Stacey I'm currently at San Francisco State University (SFSU) studying Civil Engineering.

Roxspin Civil Engineering, is that like in the field in construction or something?
Stacey Hmm something like that. Structures like bridges, streets, etc...

Roxspin You are going to be responsible for designing roads for future street rodents of America.
Stacey Yup! (Laughs)

Roxspin Do you speak the Chinese language?
Stacey No, unfortunately that's one thing I regret. Being 4th generation I was never really exposed to Chinese hence never picked it up. I do find these days it is definitely useful to be bilingual. I suppose I could take it up once I have some free time, but I'm truly horrible at learning foreign languages. I tried Spanish and Japanese but I didn't go very far. (Sigh)

Roxspin I'm learning Japanese myself. I'm trying! Still kinda hard picking up the sound between "L" and "R" (Laughs). I thought you were going to bring Hannah to the shoot. What happen? Deng I seen her modeling for Q-bert.
Stacey I know she's out in the Santa Rosa area where we shot too. Speaking of Q-bert I got a Friendster request from him today (Giggles).

Roxspin Friendsters! You are the one responsible in getting me to register. Man, I think everyone is all up in that.
Stacey Yeah everyone is hooked on Friendster these days. Now I'm trying to think of the people who aren't on there. I can't think of any.

Roxspin I be on that for hours, but never burned any calories. Your diet trick is not working for me.
Stacey My diet? Do you know how much junk food I eat? I live off that stuff.

Roxspin Yeah that laptop diet.
Stacey (Smiles)

Roxspin Your resume is beyond many. You are practically doing me a favor. I owe you one.
Stacey I think it was just good timing for a lot of the opportunities. Like they say, "Right place at the right time". Nah, don't worry about it. It's been a lot of fun. You guys work so hard on your end. I think behind the scenes they should get more credit than they do. The whole Roxspin team has been the funniest group I've worked with yet. You make everyone feel like part of the family.

Roxspin That's right, we are all one big goofy family. So you are a Leo?
Stacey Yup!

Roxspin You into that Zodiac stuff? What's your Chinese sign?
Stacey I don't follow it too much. I'm a Ram. I do know Leos are supposed to be leaders with strong personalities.

Roxspin Sweet November is that the movie with Keanu?
Stacey Yeah I worked a day on it, but I didn't make the cutting board. They film so many hours for just a few seconds of the scene I was in.

Roxspin Do you ever want to get into acting? You've been in movies and music videos already.
Stacey I haven't focused on acting yet due to my busy schedule. Maybe one of these days.

Roxspin Not many can get in a Spoon Car. How did it feel getting into that JDM Honda Integra Type-R?
Stacey That was my first shoot with a race car. It was quite exhilarating. Good thing you didn't give me the keys or I might of taken off with it (Giggling). "Mental Note", add to list of things to do: Drive a race car.

Roxspin What else do enjoy to do?
Stacey I love traveling, shopping, dancing, and ooh trying different restaurants.

Roxspin What is your favorite traveling spot so far?
Stacey Hmm, I have a few. I feel right at home in LA and love shopping in Hong Kong.
